Public Teaching Schedule

YOGA/BRUNCHNext 9:30am class is Sunday, December 17th — info/register here!

Set Your Sankalpa Workshop: To be scheduled for early 2018 — stay tuned and shoot me an email at aliciamhansen(at)gmail(dot)com if you’re interested! (Private / small group variations of this workshop also available – please contact me private for info.)

Private Sessions Available

Private instruction is available for any level yogi: if you’re just starting out, trying to advance your studies, or just looking for a change of pace from how you normally practice.  If you live in the Greater Cleveland area, I’d love to arrange to meet you for private instruction to help you take the next step on your yogic learning path.

Private sessions include a yoga class featuring asana (physical postures), pranayama (breath work) and meditation. Each session includes a 45-90 minute instruction period and a personalized “homework” — AKA a customized home practice for you to continue learning between sessions.

Pricing varies depending on length of session, number of people, mileage (for longer distances). I’m happy to provide a quote, as well as offer discounted pricing for purchasing a package of classes.

Alicia Hansen began dabbling in yoga in college as a part of a newly found healthy lifestyle and weight loss journey. As a theater major at Baldwin-Wallace College, she gravitated toward vinyasa yoga and how it allowed her to find another way to express her creativity. Alicia earned her 200-hour certification in 2012 and previously taught at Nishkama Yoga and Evolution Yoga School & Practice Space.

In the spring of 2014, Alicia enrolled in the ParaYoga Master Training Program.  She has spent more than one hundred hours in advance training sessions with ParaYoga’s founder, Yogarupa Rod Stryker. Her influences also include Jason Crandell, Kathryn Budig, Tiffany Cruikshank, Jill Miller and Elena Brower.

As a guest instructor, Alicia taught popular Yoga Rocks the Park outdoor yoga classes in the summers of 2013 and 2014. Since the Fall of 2014, she also serves as a guest lecturer on the topic of yoga at Case Western Reserve University as a part of a Management of Chronic Illness in a Cultural Context course.

Her classes provide a well-rounded, complete practice appropriate for all levels of practitioners while sharing concepts that can be applied during a yoga class or in the world outside. She currently teaches a YOGA/BRUNCH series in partnership with The Cultural Center and Dante Next Door. Alicia is also available for private sessions, corporate classes, specialty workshops and other yoga and meditation related special events. She can be reached via email at
