THIS KID. 14 months going on 14 years. But while she’s still just a baby and not quite yet a teen, I’m going to embrace every chance I have to remind her that she’s still my little girl. So what better place for that than at the baby furniture store where we shopped for the furniture in her nursery!!
Saturday, we had the opportunity to spend some time at Berg’s Baby and Teen Furniture in Lyndhurst for the Milk Street Baby furniture launch. I was invited to co-host the event (little ol’ me!) along with fellow local / mom blogger, Rachel from It’s A Hero, plus get to know Milk Street’s owner and designer Julie Knisley and the awesome team at Berg’s.

Just within a few moments of meeting Julie, you could feel just how excited she was to share her products with us and all of Northeast Ohio. Julie started Milk Street after years of experience designing luxury nursery furniture lines for well-known brands like Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware. The passion that drives her work revolves around crib safety. In this new line, she brings together this with her eye for design and incredible finishes to create very special pieces including cribs, dressers, nightstands and more.
Julie is also passionate about buying local, both in her own life but especially when it comes to buying her nursery furniture! That is why Milk Street works with exclusive, independent stores around the country where you can find employees ready to offer a wealth of knowledge to their customers about these products. So no wonder she chose Berg’s! They were so into the launch that they had “Milk (Street) and Cookies” available to munch on during the launch event!
We had a great time asking Julie all about the collections Milk Street offers, including the True Collection, Relic Collection and Cameo Collection on display at Berg’s. (You can view Milk Street’s full catalogue online here.) Brenna really got up close and personal with the cribs – she insisted on jumping right on in to one!

..but even crib-loving babies get a little slap-happy with too much fun, and so it was time to get this little girl home for nap time at home.
…but not without recognizing what a great time we all had at Berg’s that day — silly, squirmy baby and all!
