Greetings from Parma, Ohio!
My name is Alicia and I’m happy to call the largest suburb of Cleveland my home.
Poise in Parma started back in 2009 as a chronicle of my journey towards maintaining a 100 pound weight loss and a healthy balance while enjoying all that Cleveland, Ohio has to offer. As time passes, it’s included a lot more than just that single theme.
I have lived in the Northeast Ohio area all my life. Even so, my husband Hans, our Golden Retriever Grady and I are still finding fantastic gems along I-480 and everywhere it takes us.
I am a local yoga teacher, specializing in vinyasa yoga with a tantric twist. (You have to come to my class to find out what that means!) I teach local public classes, as well as specialty classes, private sessions and events. Learn more about my teaching schedule at my Yoga page.
As an event and marketing professional, I appreciate all the wonderful events taking place around the Cleveland area and enjoy sharing them with you. Sometimes this is through previews or recaps — most times through giveaways where you can attend the event yourself. The more, the merrier — right?!
