All my friends are getting pumped up about this Saturday night’s Jump Back Ball to benefit PlayhouseSquare Partners. Have fun guys and gals – it’s one heck of a party!
Hans and I, on the other hand, have been looking forward to this Friday night since late last year for the appearance of these two:

Yes, I’m the girl that had a blog friend guest post with her version of an 80′s Crooner Drinking Game.
Yes, I’m the girl that happened to schedule a vacation to L.A. in 2010 during the same holiday weekend that these two were performing at the Hollywood Bowl.
Yes, I’m the girl who ran a 5K through the streets of Cleveland with one of her best blog friends and husband blaring “You Make My Dreams” on his iPhone.
Yes, I’m the girl whose dad still has that mustache.
Child of the 1980′s? That would be a big YES.
As for the rest of this weekend? I’ll be practicing yoga, teaching yoga (subbing the 9:30AM at Nishkama - come on out!), lunching/talking blogging with a yogi friend, catching up on vlog-a-week… all the usual shenanigans. And I can’t wait!
What are you looking forward to this weekend?

Sounds like an awesome weekend! Have a blast! I’m looking forward to eating pierogies on East Fourth Street tonight and Jump Back Ball tomorrow!
That sounds like so much fun!
I’m looking forward to mixology & Blithe tonight and a beer tasting tomorrow. Hopefully a yoga class will find it’s way into the mix too!
Then there’s studying and homework…definitely part of the weekend but not a part I’m pumped about
In college I used to go to Pirate Cove for 80′s night all the time with my girlfriend from the campus radio station. Love 80′s music but don’t know the names of the bands or anything…
Have a blast!
I am getting a massage this weekend, and opted to try Ashiatsu for something different. SO EXCITED. I’m not much of an 80s fan, I actually forced myself to hate it growing up because my older sister loved it
<——JEALOUS! I love Hall & Oates! Sara Smile & She's Gone are two of my all time favorite songs in the world!
I have ALWAYS wanted to see them in concert. Have a freaking blast!
I am a big H&O fan and have YMMDCT on my running playlist (I do a run type dance on the street when it comes on too).
I know they are coming to CA this summer and I’d like to finally see them.
Glad to discover your blog via Pavement Runner! Come visit mine, I’m an 80′s fan too with some heavy love for Duran Duran!
Hall & Oates H20 was one of my first concerts ever and I absolutely loved my baseball style concert t-shirt with the turquoise sleeves – totally awesome!
I so want to learn the yoga but I am terrified. I’ve never set foot in a gym and/or dance studio or anything even remotely resembling either of those things. My heart always aches when I see someone just doing it.
[...] the company’s recent Social Media Night, I knew I wouldn’t be able to attend due to my obsession with an 1980′s musical group. But he was kind enough to extend an invitation for me and a guest to check out GLT’s [...]
