Link It Up: Must Read Posts on 2.8.2013

Jumping into Link It Up this week, I must first share this thought that popped up on my radar screen yesterday, and I can’t get it out of my head:

You are responsible

I owe you all a Vlog-A-Week tomorrow and I’m sure this will sneak its way in…

I’m really excited to have picked up this t-shirt from CLE Clothing Co.  100% of the proceeds go towards the Market Vendor Relief Fund of the The Michael D. Symon Foundation, Inc.   There are still some available and for $20, it’s a steal and an easy way to give back.

There’s also a Cash Mob at the WSM planned for Saturday, March 2nd – info over at the Facebook event page. Even $20 of groceries will help things get back to normal again.

My Beyond Basics yoga workshop is a week from tomorrow – Saturday, February 16. Register over at the Nishkama Yoga MINDBODY page(Click on the workshops tab!)  Even though it’s about the poses “beyond the basics”, it’s really structured for all levels of yogis!

Based on my experience on the mat last Saturday, Issues in our Tissues: Looking at the Emotions We Store in Our Bodies is a solid read to understand why you might have started crying in frog pose…

From Yoga Dork: Yoga Class Playlists Are the New MTV.   Side note: if anyone can hook me up with an “instrumental” version of Thrift Shop, my vinyasa flow class would greatly appreciate it…

Yoga and the Mind: Can Yoga Reduce Symptoms of Major Psychiatric Disorders?  The answer is a big YES.

Kudos to Rachel for being real about her experiences as a mom. Her post from yesterday was beautiful, in my opinion. I have a serious girl crush on this lady, which I told her in person on Tuesday night at the OBA meetup. I have no shame for sharing my love for fabulous people.

Read the Cleveland Clinic’s Health Hub post on 6 Ways to Outsmart Smartphone Stress. I love the description in point number six.

After this past week, I can definitely use these 55 Gentle Ways To Take Care Of Yourself When You’re Busy Busy Busy.
