Hello Baltimore!

I am here for the FitBloggin‘ conference – happily attending for my second year. I highly enjoyed my experience as an attendee last year, so returning for 2012 was a given. However, it all got real when I saw my name in print on the agenda:

Join me on Saturday at 12:15PM as I give my presentation on Taking Your Online Community Offline. I’m so incredibly excited to share my experience as Cleveland chapter president of Ohio Blogging Association and how you can do the same with your own online network.
This morning started for me at the Reebok CrossFit workout. My new blog buddy Taylor paired up for the partner workout where we learned the basics of the sport and then rocked the cued squats, sit-ups and burpees in minute increments. Our trainer Butch kept us motivating each other – while pushing us to keep each other going.

Reebok – one of the conference sponsors – has treated the attendees to some wonderful workout apparel. I already came with plenty of their gear, but I can’t wait to fill everyone in on all the goods in our swag bags!
Post CrossFit, I sneaked out for a solo run/walk along the Inner Harbor. My legs needed a shake out after all those squats! It was a beautiful morning to explore the city as well as give myself a few moments of “me time”.
This afternoon, 300 bloggers will enjoy opportunities to listen to “getting down to business” presentations, as well as group discussions. Guess who already found herself in front of a microphone?

So if you see me today, please say hi – I’d love to meet as many people as possible. And if you’re down for a few vinyasa flows, I’m ready to teach some yoga in a hotel hallway as needed!
If you’re at FitBloggin’ 2012, introduce yourself in the comments! If you’re not, let me know if I can ask any questions for you while I’m here!
Disclosure: I received the Reebok products mentioned in this post via my FitFluential ambassadorship. As always, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

Looks like the conference is starting off great! Have a fabulous time!!
Oh my gosh, looks like SO much fun, wish I could have made it this year!!
Rock it, Alicia! Have a wonderful time in DC and from one theatre gal to another – break a leg during your presentation tomorrow (but not literally, of course, that wouldn’t be good – especially during FitBlogging!)
(And by FitBlogging, I meant FitBloggin – that shows you how tired I am from this week)
Rock it out today, lady! You got this! And you got tons of love and support from CLE direct to you.
I’m so glad we got to room together, Alicia! And you did such a fantastic job on your presentation. Hope you’re catching up on sleep today!
Oops, got our trainer’s name wrong! lol, thought it was definitely Thor. Lol, I knew it was something along the lines of someone who could kick our butts and get away with a mohawk… Butch it is!
