whatever wednesday: things I loved on Valentine’s Day

Yesterday was lovely. It started with the discovery of this over at Y is for Yogini:

I have been nothing but a ball of energy lately. It’s the harnessing of that energy that’s the problem in some moments…

I was treated to a wonderful vinyasa flow from one of my favorite Nishkama instructors, Yolanda:

I spent the evening simply at home with my husband – grilling out and surprising him from baked goods from a Cleveland favorite:

The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach via a rib eye steak and a cannoli.

And at at the end of a wonderful day, the discovery of what I am now obsessed with this Wednesday:

Puppies and Conan O’Brien. It doesn’t get any better??

What did you love on the holiday of love?

Sounds like a perfect day and that you are also in a perfect place in life right now. I absolutely love that. I had a great night with M…made the best of his working late on Tuesdays, for a late dinner at 8:30, of roast chicken, lemon risotto and citrus kale 🙂 (and chocolate chip cookies for M that he promptly devoured!)

Mmm, a canoli sounds so good right now. Those are powerful reminders, although I’m not sure if I’m a positive source of energy. Just thinking about that worries me. Imagine how much we can really affect the lives of other people, and how little we notice it.
