Since working a retail job at a fairly well known fitness apparel store this holiday season, I’ve officially crossed the line into owning too many pairs of yoga pants and workout tops. But when I was contacted by a new-to-me fitness apparel company called ellasport, I decided to step out of my workout gear comfort zone to try something new.
First thing that caught my eye was ellasport’s mission, which is to provide women with technical athletic apparel that is designed for a woman’s body and makes her feel good about herself. ellasport’s goal is to give you the confidence and motivation to push yourself further than you thought possible, to help you release your motivated inner self and unstoppable confidence that knows no limits.
The next thing that caught my eye: their Chloe Long-Sleeve Tee:

The item as described on the website:
- It’s the perfect layering tee to get you to and from the gym and it’s super comfy!
- The fit is amazing! It’s smaller at the top and wider over the hip and the neckline is very feminine.
- The Coolmax® mesh in the back enhances breathability near your lower back.
- The soft and stretchy Supplex® fabric feels great against your skin, keeps its shape, and keeps you dry.
Since receiving that long sleeve top, I’ve been wearing it about town to a variety of workouts, including Saturday’s yoga beginners workshop:
MY THOUGHTS ON THE SHIRT:
- The top is very breathable – at no point did I regret wearing a long sleeve shirt to run or spin in. During these cold Cleveland winters, I’ll take all the coverage I can get, even inside!
- Wearing it over a yoga tank top to my yoga classes, it helped get me warm when the room is still too cool for just the tank top. The Supplex fabric is thick without being heavy.
- I got a lot of compliments on the look of it – people LOVE the white swoopy shape on the back!
- My only negative is that I wish the shirt was a bit longer. I’m a tall girl (5’9″) so I prefer shirts that are longer in the torso. I could use another extra inch in the arms as well – again, that’s probably more to be said about my long arms than the shirt itself. (Side note: the company rep said they are planning to make future versions longer in the torso.)
Overall, I was really happy with this product – and now you have the chance to be too as you have a chance to win an ellasport Chloe Long-Sleeve Tee of your own! The kind folks at the company offered one lucky PIP reader the product to help them reach their own workout goals!!

My favorite stay warm trick is to sip lots of hot tea – so good for you and really helps keep me warm. Also snuggling up with my fur ball works too…
My favorite workout tip: SUCK IN YOUR ABS when doing weight training! It’s amazing how much we forget to zip ‘em up. It’s amazing how much more you feel the workout when you suck ‘em in!

And can I say that I LOVE that it’s shorter since I’m only 5’4″ – might be the perfect length for me!
Great giveaway! I’m just about5’3″ so I’m not worried about the length of the shirt
(just saying!)
I stay motivated in the winter by 1) having a training plan. If I don’t have to think about what i’m doing when I work out I’m less likely not to work out and 2) sleeping in my workout clothes. Gross? I don’t think so. I sleep in what I can (not usually my running jacket) but it helps ge tme out of bed and out of my apartment in the morning!

Motivation for me is that I always ALWAYS feel better after I work out. ALWAYS. This top looks great for a lighter layer for outdoor runs or for around town casual for errands and such! super cute!

My favorite trick for staying warm in the CLE winter = leggings under EVERYTHING. Even leggings under leggings! Sweater tights work pretty well, too.
Lots of layers – you can never be too prepared! Not to mention after our long runs on Saturdays the girls and I end at Starbucks for a nice hot latte!!!!!
Ohh cute! I like the you’re stronger than you think you are mantra.
Motivation tactics include ice cream.

Me and my husband motivate each other to work out. If one gets going the other one can’t be worse and we both go!

Layers are my go to way to keep warm in the winter!
My favorite winter work out tactic is to keep my home on the cool to colder side. This way being cold makes me get on my treadmill to work up a good sweat. Then I don’t mind that the house is cold.
My favorite “keep warm in the winter” trick is lots of layers!! If it’s going to be freezing outside, then sometimes I’ll even wear leggings under my jeans to keep my warmer when walking to class!

This shirt looks tight!! No pun intended
I always stay motivated to work out by remembering how “slow and sluggish” my body feels when I don’t. I get sleepier and slower for some reason. Also, it doesn’t hurt that my wedding is in 2 months! hehe.
I follow you on twitter now, nice to meet you!

One of my best workout motivators is to plan to meet a running buddy or workout buddy at a certain time and place. When I’m meeting someone, it’s never a question about whether or not I should push snooze.
I stay warm in the winter by layering!
What a cute top!!

I’m still in the “getting healthy” not “super athlete” phase. So I set reminders on my phone to get moving. I need the extra motivation to squeeze in my work outs after a 13 hour shift!!
Thanks for all the @ellasport follows! Psyched to see who the lucky winner is
.
My favorite “keep warm” tactic in the winter? Keep moving! The more energy I expend working out, the warmer I feel
my favorite tip is to layer! Soft fuzzy ones on the bottom layer, of course.
Workout motivation isn’t easy for me. I find it easier though if I get up in the morning and get it out of the way.
My trick for staying warm is wearing a scarf every day all day even indoors. It is a neural brown so it goes with every outfit!
I do some light cardio in the house before I head outside to stay warm!

My motivation trick is to leave my workout clothes out the night before an A.M. workout. They are right there waiting for you and make you feel guilty if you skip the workout.
Keeping warm in winter? Hot tea and slippers and sweaters.

I work out at 5:30 am, so if I need an extra push I sleep in my (clean) workout clothes. Out of bed and to the gym. If I bail on the workout, changing out of clean workout clothes makes you feel really guilty! Now following you and @ellasport!

My best motivation is working out with a feiend, or a killer music playlist on the ipod. I keep warm with lots of layers and always, always, always a scarf and fingerless gloves.

I think the thing that gets me motivated to get it in gear has been making playlists for my iPod. Music does it for me most. Although I doubt this would look good on me I love the blog and my wife would love it.

I’m not sure if Canadians may enter, but this struck me as such a funny question that I had to answer. My favourite winter workout motivation is to go outside (if I’m feeling like a workout is overwhelming I just decide on how long I’m going to stay outside for), and my tip for keeping warm in the winter is to keep moving.
I like to daydream about my beach vacations, it helps me think about how I’d LIKE to look in my bikini. This is, of course, if working out is not my stress relief technique for the day!
